Expom S.A. among Forbes Diamonds 2017

Expom S.A. was distinguished in the ranking of Forbes Diamonds 2017. On 1 June, during the event gala, the award was received from the Programme Director of Forbes, Roman Młodkowski, by Rafał Domżalski, CEO at Expom S.A.

The presence among the awarded businesses means that Expom is in the elite group of most dynamically developing enterprises in Poland in the category of companies with revenues up to PLN 50 million. This was already the tenth edition of Diamonds, where Forbes and Bisnode analysts and experts appraised businesses with the Swiss method, which combines the asset and revenue methods.

Only 72 businesses from Warmia and Mazury were distinguished, in three revenue categories (with revenues of PLN 5-50 million, PLN 50-250 million, and more than PLN 250 million). Therefore, Expom can be proud of this distinction.

After the award ceremony, Tomasz Malicki, Member of the Supervisory Board in Expom S.A., commented: ‘We are happy to be awarded, as it proves that the long-term strategy adopted by the Company and pursued properly is effective.’

Intense Q1 2017

In the first quarter of 2017, Expom S.A. increased its processing capacities, broadening its back-up facilities with an additional production hall located near the main production plant of the Company. The new hall guarantees the capacity to serve new projects and develop continually the business of Expom S.A. in line with the adopted Long-Term Strategy of the Company for 2016-2021. In addition to the new hall, which will increase the processing capacities of Expom, the construction has been started of a connection between a painting chamber and an auxiliary paint shop as well.

The value of projects implemented by the Company in Q1 2017 totals almost EUR 3 million. To serve demanding projects of such a size, the Company is continuing the modernization of its production plant as well, which started last year.

‘To improve the fulfilment of orders, we have taken a number of actions that will enhance our internal efficiency, both with investments in the Expom personnel, infrastructure, and the management model of the Company. Third Business Gazelle for EXPOM!

EXPOM S.A. has been awarded in the Business Gazelle ranking, the list of the most dynamically developing small and medium businesses, for a third consecutive year. On 8 February 2017, the award was received in Hotel Warmiński, Olsztyn, on behalf of the Company by Expom’s CEO, Rafał Domżalski.

The main idea of the awards is to promote small and medium entrepreneurship. The competition is to distinguish companies that develop fast and record continuous improvements of their financial results regardless of economic conditions.

The ranking is published in the ‘Puls Biznesu’ magazine as well as at gazele.pl, where the complete database of Business Gazelle ranking is available, including all firms in the ranking since 2000.

EXPOM S.A. was recognised, being in the top of the ranking for the third time already, which is an exceptional event for the whole organization. The company from Kurzętnik is a leading employer in the region. The sales of the Company for 2016 were record-breaking, and in parallel EXPOM set up a number of personnel programmes and invested in the development of its infrastructure. Owing to such a broad range of activities, the Company received a number of awards in 2016, including WaMaBoss, Export Eagles, and Tom Employers of the Eastern Poland.

‘But the changes have only started. We are planning another investment project in 2017. We are committed to development and improving working conditions of our personnel,’ says Rafał Domżalski.
