Expom has a position for static and dynamic tests of lifeboat cranes, lifts, elevators and winders with SWL (Save Work Load) from 900 to 24000 kg intended for the tests of prototypes in extreme conditions specified by the regulations of IMO and SOLAS.
The position consists of the working space with reinforced concrete structure with the dimensions: length of 14m, width of 3m and depth of 4.5m, and a board with a foundation frame mounted on it, intended for fitting the tested devices. On the foundation frame, a table is installed with an inclined board for fitting cranes.
The device is equipped with two gantry cranes with the lifting capacity of 16 tons. Additionally, it may be operated by a self-propelled crane with lifting capacity up to 100 tons. The position has aHitachi 75kW inverter, which is intended for supplying the electrical system of cranes with grid voltage other than normal at the frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz. The position is equipped also with electrical network supply of 3x400V with power up to 100kW, a hydraulic power supply unit with pressure up to 250bar, and efficiency up to 200l/min., and compressed air with the pressure of 8 bars. It also has a set of bobs with the weight from 100kg up to 15 tons, used to load cranes during tests.
Two certified electronic scales with measurement range of up to 30 tons enable accurate measurement of loads during static and dynamic tests. The measuring cabin enables protection of electronic measurement devices against the effect of atmospheric factors.
